Aluminum gets Gold!

Post by Ejiggyb »

This 30' Swiftloader built by Lee Shore boats really Sucks, literally gold right off the bottom.
Note the sluice box with a nozzle. A VW motor mounted on deck with a pump to create the suction.
There is a chute (hole) in the boat right in front of the cabin bulkhead with hinged trap doors.
The tailings go right back out the chute to the sea floor. A diver deploys off the bow door with a big hose.

Hi Joe,

It looks like the front window is rubber framed while the side windows are aluminum framed?? Any reason why, if my observation is correct?

Fisherman, The original specifications were all bus style windows, then the customer asked for side windows to slide open.
