The boat we are building for Willy, we have named it the Sportster, which is a new hull design inspired by the Columbia River.
My Portland dealer asked us for an aggressive jet boat for the local jet boat rivers that could also cross over for the Columbia Buoy 10 fishery. First, we increased the Vee to 12° like our Inboard jet model made for the riding in bigger water without compromising aggressive, shallow-water running with an outboard. Second, we kept our exclusive jet tunnel. Third, we made the bottom 7’4” for stability, room and to float in less water. Fourth, we put 30” high sides and large gunnel rod lockers with additional trays.
The Sportster is made for the Guide and Sportsman who’s looking for a shallow water jet boat he can also use in large water fisheries. Glen

Kevin I see you're from M I. If you're coming to Seattle there are two shows. The Seattle boat show January 23 to February 1. In that show, West Coast Marine, our dealer from Bellingham, will have a 23' pilot with a new 200 G2 Evinrude & a 17' Alaskan. The other show is the Puyallup sportsman show January 21 through January 25. In the Sportsman show, we will have a 26' pilot, the new 21' Sportster, a 20' Alaskan XL and a 17' Alaskan. If you really want to check out our boats, come to our shop in south Seattle, about 15 minutes from the boat show. We can show you a lot more there. We are open Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 4pm. Glen

Good choice on the boat. Wooldridge boats are the best boats in both the northern and southern hemispheres.

Viva La Seattle Boatbuilder!!!!!!!! MUCHO me gusta.

This project is looking great, I love the green console. That will really stick out in poor visibility/conditions.
