New to me Ride, 19' Harbercraft CC

#1

So this ended up following me home, after a 6 hours drive to get it. A 2000 19' Harbercraft, 2004 Merc 115 Classic. Its been well loved, lots of dents and scratches, but in good shape overall. Needs some seats for us, we mostly just cruise, but its been fun so far! Only had it out a couple days really, other than the sea trial. Its still a bit cold...

coming home.

Lots of floor area!

Cuts a nice wake in spite of the big dents.

Great first day on the water!

Cut a piece of HDPE to mount my fish finder/gps to. No new holes that way.

Cooler tie downs.

With the not so pretty cushion....

And oh so important.... Cupholders!

Splash well covered, almost makes it bracket like. Makes an awesome platform.

Poor mans hydro turf. Yoga Mat! Non slip when wet, won't soak up water, seems sturdy and cheap!

Also wanted a cup holder in the console, its more or less dry storage, all the cup holders had holes in the bottom of them.
So, a vacuum line fitting I had laying around, some JB Weld and a piece of tubing. I can now cut my cup holder into the top of the console and it will drain to the bilge.

Got some more done tonight. Thanks to my crafty neighbor with her vinyl cutter, she has her name displayed proudly!

Oh Boy....

No Turning back now.

Done! And yes it drains to the bilge :)

And added a transom ladder. Need some input here... Its drilled and tapped into the aluminum deck here, it appears to be 3/16" thick. On the bottom rung of the ladder you can see the diamond plate flex. Will this crack over time? I cant get my arm in there to add any backing (not sure backing will do anything anyway) Will this cause long term issues??

But it seems like a really nice ladder, 3 steps is nice too,

This boat is awesome. So much floor space!

It was a nice weekend.

Back home after being on the water all day!

Yes Kingfisher bought out Harbercraft I believe. The stern is so nice! leaps and bounds over a angled splash well
