Georgia deer hunt

#1

Post by capeannfisherman »

Been down in Liberty county Georgia to hunt the last week of there season on a management hunt.
The goal was to take home 4 does - mission accomplished. Venison for my entire family and a few close friends.
Now I'm out of adventures and back to work (YUK) until fishing season starts. A little over 40 days

Were ya hunting in the bone breaking Cold, the the South just experienced?
Heck parts of the Inter-coastal waterway had ICE on it here, in FLORIDA!

Was probably balmy for ya, though. Huh?

FISHIN' IN 40...sounds like a plan to me. We'll be waitin' on the fish "PHOTOS".

Yep it was cold down there, perfect for deer hunting. Looks like I'll be able to fill the freezer there every year for the next few years. Hunting the giant live oaks and found a huge white oak that the deer just can't resist.
John the countdown to fishing season has started. All the Haddock you want in April, I found the spawning grounds last April and I still owe you a trip. I'm also trying to rent a cottage in Gloucester again for the season.
