Incredible Storms

#1

Post by AlloyToy »

We had a tornado touch down in my area last night. Luckily the only thing we lost was a couple trees that wiped out the garden, fence, and our shed. The AlloyToy survived

The funnel clouds, wind, down burts, and lightening was absolutely incredible

Yes sir, saw all that on the weather channel as they were tracking it and at Ground Zero...I guess every catastsrophy has a Ground Zero now.

I was thinking about ya, John. When I see all this weather ("IF" the AAB member has "properly" filled out their "location" as asked) and I know them. They come to mind. And ya'll did.

Glad to Toy didn't earn a storm merit badge.

Stay safe you guys, I keep watching the news and hoping the weather isn't hitting anyone I know on here. The world seems to be dishing out some crazy weather.

Really glad to hear you are OK.

Even though we live in tornado alley.......I will never get used to them. My first and only real close experience with them came June 6th, 1974 in Tulsa Oklahoma - missed Mom & Pop's house by an eigth of a mile - whew! I was only 12 years old & I will never forget the destruction & power these things have.

We had a hidey hole installed about 14 years ago at the ranch. Only been in it one time........so far.

Again, Glad you and the boat are OK.

Nothing sucks more than that moment during an argument when you realize you're wrong.

Glad to hear the AT is ok. Also happy to hear you guys are ok. I don't think any self respecting tornado would dare hurt a family with a last name only the top 3% of people can spell, only kidding with ya John :nutkick:

AT glad to see your safe. My wife works in Southbridge MA and thank god she was home just before the storm hit. Rte 169, Rte 131 were closed so she had the next day off after the storm since school was closed. So we went to see the damage, the planes at the airport were upside down, thrown in the woods and a trailer normal next the hangers was on the other side of the airport about 4 football field's away stuck into the fence. I'm guessing If the fence wasn't there it may have been a mile away. A flat bed trailer can act like a wing in high winds.
