Or have creative ideas for removal?

My cousin in-law has to remove 50'x50'x18" slab of concrete from inside a building.
He wants a couple of these but the manufacturer is too far out on back order to have the concrete removed in the time frame it needs to be done.

Do you know of other tools or techniques to get this job done.
He already has a 48" cutter lined up to cut the slab into squares like the video.

That is a neat device. Only thing I can think of is to use concrete anchor bolts. drill holes, pound them in, thread on a lift ring and lift out with a forklift. 18" thick slab is scary heavy per sq ft, have to find pretty strong anchors. you could sell them with the rings for mooring ball anchors after you get them out!

I thought about asking him for one block to set in the yard but it might be more convenient to frame and pour it myself if I really wanted it.

I mean, the hydraulic hammer on my excavator works wonders for this. Too bad you're not in Washington.

18inch is pretty thick though, probably reinforced with rebar also.
