I really like the mahogany, Terry. I know you probably posted this before, but what are you getting for economy? I have seen her posted on CL up here. If it was located here, it would be gone.

At a cruising speed of between 24 to 28 I'm getting about 1.5mpg to 1.75mpg average tuna trip this year has been around 70 gallon as where the old seasport would average 100 on the same trip, I love the boat, but I want RSW and fish holds for 500 tuna for next seawson. Its a great sport or charter boat but I can only haul about 120 tuna due to space not weight. Harvested just under 1000 this year in 13 trips , gonna make two more next week weather permiting. I'd consider hauling it up there if someone was serious or reimbursing plane tickets. would like to get this one sold before I order aluminum for next one but if not I'll keep fishing her. Take care Terry

Refrigerated sea water in the holds, eliminate the 1200 lb's of ice I currently haul, just as heavy coming in but empty going out.

So you are fishing the albacore commercially? Cool. Sounds like your next boat might be a bit too big for outboards. Are the RSW units powered off an engine?

Actually I really like coldwater boats , and my brother fishes on one of the two 35' bristol bay boats they built for Kiwi and Bruce last year , But I really enjoy building my own and I am a comercial refrigeration tech that owns a sheet metal shop so kinda hard to higher it done when you have the time and tools to do it . A big part of it is therapudic for me . Yes I have a comercial tuna liscense but only do it part time and sale to select buyers, no real money selling to cannery on a small day trip boat. This is why I'd like to build a boat I can do three day trips and haul around 10 ton. The RSW system I'd build would run off an on board generator or shore power when docked.

Only problem with utectic plates is the amount of fish that can be loaded into the hold at one time can overwhelm what an utectic plate can cool. but I'm still researching.

We have a Canadian member here who's selling a 26, looking for 2 foot'itis...he ought to look at your boat for 4 foot' itis. Looks like it would be a great charter boat.

Decided against the Bruce Roberts plans , so now working with Cope on redesign of the 36' patrol boat with twin OB's. Sitke Buyer fell through so looks like I'll be fishing instead of building this summer.
