2007 Pacific/ Black Lab 26
Hi guys....been awhile ! Thought I would check and see interest on something like my boat. I am considering going up up in size
If I find interest in my boat. She is a 2007 Pacific / Blacklab 26 center console. Console is centered mid hull. Power is Honda 225 .Trailer is 5500 cap galvy duel axle with sealed hubs and disc brakes ( Shorelander ). Serious offers will be considered. Engine has very low hrs and has been maticously maintained...
Nice to see there is still alot of interest in quality alloy boats !
Jetty ! Glad to see you are still floating ;)

HOLY CRAP ON COD
Looky what the cat drug in. Damn, where ya been? And now ya wanna sell, huh?
Plenty of tire kickers out there for sure. I think instead of people selling because they lost their jobs or "fortunes", now we have lookers.
I know, I could have fished Memorial day time, something like 12 days in a row. If I had a running Honda. But didn't.
So the 4th of July time, I fished I think 9 days in a row, had a one day break, then went 5 more days forced off the water by Arthur one day and then did another 7 days in a row.
And still not caught up from what I lost.
Ya still thinking Pacific? Or another boat?

Hi Dave...its been awhile....sorry to hear about your Honds. I know you have had trounle before and purchased a back up...
Oh I have been kicking the idea around for a 28 or 30 with a pilot house for awile. Getting close to that age where I would be able to use it more and more. I may just move down south and put my alloy on the intercoastal waterway. I just find my fishing more offshore than ever....I mean offshore not 10 to 20 miles I take my 26..We will see. If a serious offer came up I may consider it as a complete turn key sell. But I had her built and it would not hurt me in the leadt to hold onto her and put one of those spiffy west coast pilot houses on her and maybe a big Yammie...hay who knows....I know this there are way to many xxxholes on the waterwayes these days. I don't even wave to people anymore.

Re: 2007 Pacific/ Black Lab 26
There's a guy on here looking for a 23-26 Pacific.....I passed on to him this thread you started.
My daddy always says to me, "be careful of what ya wish for..."
You may get a offer and then end up in a new Pacific 33 footer
Did you see the BIG bad azz that Alloytoy saw up your way? Some guy that should join AAB went all the way and then some on a cabin 33 footer, that super tank-like.
Jus' wonder what that bad boy ended up costing?
I just want my new Suzy-Zuki 250 Fly By Wire, to last till my boats paid off. Still have 7 years.....when the boats paid off it will be such a load off my shoulders, I'll be dancing in the streets and be committed to a sanitarium by the city.
Yep, that spare Navy Honda only lasted me 250 hrs. Then the crankcase filled with saltwater.
IF you ever are need of any 225 parts...CONTACT me 1st!
I have plenty!

Re: 2007 Pacific/ Black Lab 26
Dave ....the Suzies have a great warrany.....best of luck......There is nothing out there that is bullitproof. Each has its very own ghost. All have to be babied in one way or another. My whole package is still perect and very reliable. I just treat it like I cannot afford to replace it it and she never lets me down. The chipped tooth in the lower was a defect....Honda did chip in on the rebuild. Was not a great amount buy I got my point across finailly !
Anyone price out a new 26 these days ? Word is sit down because it is far more than it used to be....

Re: 2007 Pacific/ Black Lab 26
OC,
I had a chipped tooth in a gear the 1st year of running. Total warranty.....there was this slight Whine at low speed.
Since, not a single Lower unit problem.
Guess it was "one of those thangs".
Hey man, ya got interested parties. You may get that 33 CC afterall.

You are in RI, yes?
I'm back on Cape Cod again (for a few weeks) after next week - very easy to come and see in person - but I'd like to connect before to see if were on the same page.
Thanks,

Re: 2007 Pacific/ Black Lab 26
Add $7,000 for shipping. $3,000 in fuel if us "Eastcoasters" drive there to pick it up. Hotels, food, what ever else you may need for the 2 week trip.
Re: 2007 Pacific/ Black Lab 26
Time to talk to an east coast builder like welderbob IMHO 7K shipping is a lot of fuel in these boats

Re: 2007 Pacific/ Black Lab 26
Understand and thanks.
Sure - I want something practical - but more important I want something solid and very well built using top quality materials. Something simple to maintain, that I'll own for a "couple of engine lives". Like my old 1977 Mako 20 (still have and use in-shore / kids / runabout).
It'll serve as a Cape Cod summer season near shore/offshore day trip fishing boat for me and my brothers. It'll be replacing a 26 w/ twins. Looking for similar reach w/ less moving parts - aka - single engine w/ a kicker and easier trailer-ability (the boat will travel a couple hundred miles to winter storage and for fishing trips in shoulder season Apr/May and Oct/Nov).
Summer season the boat will sit on the family mooring in tidal salt water on Cape Cod (the one reservation we had w/ aluminum alloy - corrosion - but were convinced otherwise by our USCG buddies out there if we went with the right "weight" aluminum - which Pacific does appear to use)...and - I was thinking Pacific (Black Lab) because its an aluminum alloy brand I have any history with and know to be quality (have two friends who own/owned).
Any leads, recommendations, etc - all greatly appreciated.
