At current bid of 7500 it would be a steal, especially if you could drop the motor into their dumpster on the way out of the gate

The carpeted bunk trailer gives me pause. Looks like it's on the trailer most of the time (no bottom paint).
I'd like to see what's underneath that carpet...or where the bunk meets the boat...

Cool, being a '06 it would have the 1/4" bottom and aluminum gas tank. The bow rail does not look factory, IMO it is worth around $15k.

Up to 8750. Anyone bidding on it from the site? I would love to take a chance on it but on the wrong coast so without an inspection, taking a risk.

OP - Thanks for the heads up on the auction! Planning to pick it up on Tuesday. It's more than I'd hoped to pay but they just don't come around very often. Reserve was set at $15,000 and the auction closed at $16225. The balance is admin fee (commission?). I got a rough estimate today for a repower with a 115 4st, new rigging, etc. at @ $11000. I'll shop that around.

Congrats! Where are you going to be keeping the boat? I hope that the trip goes well and the boat is in great shape.

I have a 115 and if I were re-powering I would look at 135-150. Mine is a hard top so it has a little more weight. At this years boat show the evinrude guys were quoting $9500 for a 150 rigged which seemed like a pretty god deal.

Thanks! I'm in S. Maine. I'll certainly go with more HP if the price is right. Under $10000 would be great. Now I just have to get it home!
