7.9 Meter Naiad Viking New Build

#1

Post by RCSO »

7.9 Meter Fast Response Boat. The hull was surplus due to a cancelled Coast Guard contract. It was originally a RHIB Over the Horizon Cutter Boat designed to be driven on to a ramp in the rear of the Endurance Class Cutter. The hull was converted by Viking Welding to a twin outboard fast response boat with an enclosed helm. The boat was fitted with a rigid foam collar that is covers in Linux. The boat is fitted with push knees in the front and has front and rear bollard for towing. This is the ultimate towing, ship handling, rescue salvage boat. The sister ship was fitted with a pump and is being used as a Fire Boat. You can't buy a stronger built boat. Boat is perfectly balanced and required no ballast needed and a top speed of 49 mph at initial spatial. New EZ Loader tandem trailer included. $68,000

I've noticed some uploaded photo's have a yellow triangle at the far right hand side of the "attachment" box / page -
they will not upload, why they have that triangle I have no idea.

If your photo's have a green dot at the far right hand side they will show up.

Maybe someone on the forum can explain this............

RSCO,

How much fuel does the boat carry? What year are the motors and how many hours do they have? Where is the boat located?

Thanks in advance
