Battery charger & aluminum boats

#1

Post by v26wa »

Ok, I plan to install a 20 amp Guest power center / battery charger. The boat will be in salt water 24/7 for 8 months. She is recently bottom painted with 3 coats of Trilux 33. Is there anything in peticular I shoud be concerned about ? I have seen guys use those zinc "guppys" with a similar set up. Should I be concerned ? I have all stock zincs on twin Merc 150's & the stock zinck on my Pacific 26WA. Thanks !!

Should be good to go just keep a eye on all your connections and make sure your zincs are clean and in good shape.

Hey Dave,
I'll sell her if I can get the right price for her. As for now I'm planning on keeping her until then & can't wait for some Stellwagen Codfish in March !!
