I had a hewescraft Alaskan searunner for 5 seasons before I started the build on my glaciercraft. It was a great fishing platform. It held 160 gallons, cruised at 30 knots, heated, and had a decent stereo. Good times. I miss that boat!

You got that right, Jettywolf. iIt was a great boat. Lots of life left in her. we sure put a lot of fish, shrimp, and bears on that deck. It will be nice having the comfort in the new one with the family. I just checked on the status on my motors and they should be here in a couple of weeks. I wonder what the launch looks like?:D

Yeah, I'd see that could be a concern, since in one of those photo's ya posted the "green" seems to go VERY verticle in tha background.

We call fishing "the bluff" a spot along the river here that may have a 60 foot high bank. Other than the land fill it's the highest point in the whole county. And the county is HUGE!
