Whats to think about? That boat will last a life time! And besides where the heck is Europe going? It'll be there after you buy the boat.
Just do it!

Nice looking boat, Pembroke is up there. Wonder if the owner brought it from the west coast, I have called Pacific a couple times and they always refer me to Jay at BLM, be surprised if Pacifc would have sold it to someone on the east coast.

I know about the territory, the way the add is worded it sounded like was directly from Pacific. Wish I did not have so much going on right now.

i asked about that when I e-mailed him last night. Heard back this morning and he indicated its a Black Lab.
What is normal power for a 23'? Isnt it more like a 200/225? A 150 will obviously still get me where I need to go but it sounds a little underpowered no?

I have the same setup as this.My boat tops out at 42mph wot.The only issue that I have is when the fuel tank 120 gal is full and 6 people onboard it takes off rather sluggish.I recently installed the lenco trim tabs and this has helped to get on plane quicker. You cannot beat the 150 for fuel consumtion I burn around 1.62 gallons per hour on my 9 hour trips. We are running out arond 10 miles and trolling the rest of the time.

Re: Thought someone might be interested
There are quite a few people who have a 150 on a Pacific 23 and all seem very comfortable with the power. That looks like a good deal for a hardly used boat.

Re: Thought someone might be interested
Waiting for a response from him with regards to rodholders/rocketlaunchers etc. I cant tell from the pics if there are any on the hardtop, there are none on the transom and it seems as though this boat was used for purposes other than fishing so its not inconceivable that there may not be any on the gunwales either...

What does he sit/lean on?

Re: Thought someone might be interested
not sure...only 80 hrs on it and its a few years old. Based on that info, the apparent lack of rodholders and his apparent line of work i am guessing this was only used for hauling some sort of pot/trap and short quick runs near shore for which standing would not be a problem...

There she is...still no shot of the back of the t-top but I wouldnt hold my breath for it having rocket launchers on it..someone should jump on this. I want it but its at the top of my price range, he said in the listing he is firm on his price, and a leaning post would probably be another 1k+ so I dunno. Would be a lot easier to rationalize that kind of additional financial burden if I lived somewhere that would allow me to get out on the water on a more regular basis....

Re: Thought someone might be interested
Did you see the other 23' Pacific for sale in this section? It is a little older, but it is a lot less money.
Good luck
Nate.
