Pan Seared Tuna

Pan Seared Tuna
Made tuna tonight...
Boiled red potatoes with 2 cloves of garlic then whipped them with cream & butter
Wash the steaks, salt & pepper them, press the steaks in black & white sesame seeds and pan sear the steaks in a couple tablespoons of sesame oil for 2 min each side (middle will be pink) in a hot cast iron pan
Slice the tuna into 3/8" strips and serve over the garlic whipped potatoes
Drizzle with soy sauce

3f8 it would be cold by the time you got here brotha about 1300 miles.......try it out though you won't be disappointed

Great pic Doughnut.............AT that looks so good now I'll have to try that. Maybe posting pics was not such a good idea.

That Tuna looked so good my tounge was hanging out ...
My girly and I decided to break open some of those sea scallops we go to Stonington CT for. Never seen fresh water.
they are shucked at sea and flash frozen and man are they sweet ! Almost as good at fresh Bluefin
