I saw one of those the other day on the steelhead river I posted about and it was beautiful.

The backwards seating does a couple of things. For one it keeps your clients faces from being exposed to 40 mph sub-freezing wind as you make your way up the river at 5:00 am in January.

Also for back trolling plugs it gets you facing in the right direction. Picture this, the boat is facing upriver with power applied minimally so as allowing about a 1 knot backward drift downstream in a current probably traveling about 10 knots. You put plugs out the back of the boat and troll in reverse. Its weird but effective.

Alloy, yer funny! If I won the lotto and could have my lodge in the NW, you could come and sit in any seat ya wanted.

Chaps, I was just kidding. I understand the fishing methods. But round here, I'd need just a tad less seats and a little more versatility. But I could make this boat work for inshore fishing, in NE Fla.

A big tiller just seems so damn simple and efficiant. That's why I like these boats so much. And this one has plenty of "fancy" going on. Which is sweet. Saw another that was 25 foot long. This one's a scant 23.
