Re: My Search is over.....1860 SeaArk
I suppose you're using trolling motor for power while gigging?
But going all the way would be a fan motor, wouldn't it?
I hope you'll be sending pics over to SeaArk, so they can see what you've done to one of their boats.
I believe this guy (local Yokal) has a SeaArk gigger. He has to have 60K in this thing.......Satphone/ Radar/fan.

Re: My Search is over.....1860 SeaArk
There have been a couple of guys try to talk me into going with a fan motor.
A couple of reasons why I will not do that.
#1 It will not fit in the garage.
#2 We found last year that the Flounder in our area can Camo up pretty damn good. Not like the pix's you see of them in the sand, [yet we have that too] but you have to go REAL slow to see them in these area's. I'm talking walking slow and a fan will just not do that.
#3 The noise of a fan motor.

Never been gigging with this guy and his 100K gigging boat operation/charter service. But I hope he's making enough to pay for all that...he says he even drives via Night vision goggles!!
The guys in La. of course use both I've seen, trollers and fans....
Looking forward to more pics with fish with holes thru them

Is that the finished inside color? I like it if it is. I can't wait to see this boat completed. I have been waiting for this thread to start back up.
Keep up the good work.

Put a call out on the local Fishing Forum and they showed up @ 9:00am Friday morning. Unfortunately it was raining cats and Dogs. We had to wait about a hour to get a break in the rain.
Anyway we got the boat flipped. It's heavier than I thought.

Re: My Search is over.....1860 SeaArk
Took the trailer and weighed it yesterday. [540lbs]
Anyway a guy had stopped behind me at a Red Light. Then proceeded to ram me from behind.
It bent some brackets and sheered the lag screws off that are in the bunks.
He made restoration to me for my trouble. I then spent a little more and made the bunks 4ft longer. They are now 12ft long. They were 8ft long.

WOW Thank You Everyone that came and helped. It was a Breeze to make this happen due to the help I had. It was actually easier than when we flipped it the first time. :)
The Weather was Ausome and the people that came to participate were 1st Class. :) I never did get a count on people, but at least 20 showed.

I beleive he calls his boat the "Killin' Spree"......cool name. Not as cutsey.

There is a DF-70 Suzzy 4 stroke going on it.
I put in a LOT of hours in today. Got to where my back and feet hurt. So I went to the local watering hole to self medicate @ Happy Hour.
When I got back to the house I walked out in the shop again feeling better. I couldn't just leave it alone. I worked till 1:00am.
The plumbing, and electrical is pretty well done in the transom area. Fuel tank mounted, twin batteries, Jack Plate mounted and wired.

I've been busy burning the midnight oil. Monday I was still in the shop at 1:00am Tuesday morning.
Tuesday Dwayne Creery of DB Signs .....1-850-284-1519 was out there with me until 11:30pm and look what he brought with him.
Here's just a few pix's of whats going on, but still have a LOT more to do.
House Battery and Jackplate pump.
