That looks nice Nabeelah.

Any specs?

Fuel capacity, range, top end and cruise?

It does look the goods. I think you might need a sun shade over the rear cockpit for the tropics?.

Ballpark cost?

Yes - she looks the goods!

Cheers

Very nice finish if I didn't know I would think it was a glass boat.

Kinda curious as to what the heck you would use that for in Norman OK? I don't think those Okies would know what hit em if you showed up to the lake with that bad boy :rotfl: .

My father lives in OK city.

Scott Robson and Roger Hill both from NZ have been the market leaders in high speed power cats of this size for quite a while and both can offer you some very nice stock designs or can design you a new boat from scratch. Scott has traditionally offered asymmetric hulls while Roger leans towards more traditional symmetric hulls. From my experience Roger is a lot more conservative with his designs, the benefit of this is that you'll get exactly what you pay for. Robson has a reputation for being a little more cutting edge, as with any industry this can lead to a superior product, however, not without risk of disappointment. This risk is greatly reduced by his broad experience.

I'd like to think my young company (CTMD) offers a viable alternative to Hill and Robson. With over 10 years of aluminum power cat experience including 4 with Roger Hill and 2 with Austal Ships I have a pretty solid base upon which to start any designs. We have also been working very closely with Plate Alloy Australia for the last 4 years to develop new systems and techniques to minimize the labour component of a new build and reduce vessel material weight.

If you can let me know what size you're after I'm always happy to post a couple of General Arrangement drawings.

9.5m Powercat attached, about to start construction after an 18 month wait while the owner looked for a suitable shed. He has had a pair of 250HP Lombardinis sitting in his lounge room for 6 months.

Beam is 3.45m (11'4"). 3.5m is the maximum you can tow without an escort in Victoria (do still need a permit).

Speed will be in excess of 40 knots. This client has given me a lot of liberty and in theory the boat will be faster than that, but it will definitely be over 40.
