Question for fellow pacific owners

#1

Post by pacifictime »

I have the pacific 2325V and have water getting into area behind the rear access hatch.I cannot figure out where this water is entering. One thought was thru the rear access hatch during a rain storm. But we have not had much rain this past week.I have had this water problem since having the boat.Last week when I soaked it up their was about 1" of water.Has anyone else experienced this?

Mine stays dry [ unless I hit the hatch hard with the hose] Do you have a wash down pump plumbed through there that might be leaking ?

After looking things over I think the rigging tube for the outboard controls for the outboard might be the problem. In rough water I think their may be some water getting in at the flange on the transom.I am going to spray this with a garden hose to see if this is the culprit.Mine has ben wet since I have owned it.

Armstrong hatches have been sited by others as a source of leaking. I have armstrong hatches and have not had that problem.

You need to be more spacific.

If you're like me, you have the rigging tube, the hydraulic hoses, maybe a Blueseas cable inlet, etc.

And as "w" said..."is there a leaky pump in there?"
