Sounds like Jetty is Jealous again. He just has to jump in the truck and head south a few hundred miles to get that warm sand in the toes feeling again.Where as the rest of us gotta take days or Planes to get there from here :nutkick: \

Here is an easy hint for you, John: I think that I will visit the western most brewery in the world and a enjoy a few brews while I am here. Not a lot of alloy around here, either. "Patience" sure would get some looks for sure.

I don't have to go south.......I could go 5 minutes from the house.

It's been 80 degrees here every day, and I'm loving it. Except for NO bizness.. :!:

Yeah, but I didn't want to mis spell Hiawiai.

Must be nice, but then again you're actually pretty close Pete. Compared to us Right Coasters.

 Pineapple Beer :?:

It is about a six hour flight to Oahu and then a quick hop to Kauai. We also have a direct flight to Maui, but that island is too busy for our tastes. The local brew is ok at best. It does not hold a candle to anything back home, though. This is a much needed break from the weird and wild winter we have been having. Cheers!

Cool! I am going to Hawaii in a few months. Never been. I hope to get in a day or two of fishing, some hiking , a little scuba, and several days of sitting on the sand EXACTLY like the dude in those Corona commercials!

Oahu. We will be staying at Aulani...the new Disney owned resort. I have heard it is amazing.

Most maps of the US show us off the southwest coast of the Nation anyway.

For some strange reason geographically challenged get confused by this.

Yup. Alaska is that straight edged island right next to Hawai. I have actually talked with people that thought this. They must have taken geography lessons in Florida. :nutkick:
