Looking for aluminum boat need advise
Kind of confused on what boat. I have a Parker 2120 that I'm selling. Why I'm selling tired of NON ALLOY maint. Deep v tracks all over go slow, like trolling or docking. Burns a lot of gas 7000lbs. Does not plain good at slow speed. It is great wide open in rough sea. All the aluminums I look at are to expensive or I don't like layout. I'm trying to stay around 70k. I fish salmon halibut sturgeon and tuna if they come in close. Bodega bay and sf. My perfect boat would be farrallon sportsman 2300 w twin Hondas in aluminum. In need small cudy, open back cab, self bailing deck 23-24ft Any advice would be great thanks.

You might enjoy spending some time looking at pictures from different builders. If you haven't already, take a look at some of the links on the page below as a starting point. There are lots of good builders out there...

Yeah, welcome to the site.
If you are wanting new in that price range I would look at Wooldridge, Hewescraft, etc. You could get a custom built exactly like a Farrallon in heavier plate for more $$

You probably have a single 150 or maybe a 200 on your 2120. Try putting a Permatrim hydrofoil on your motor. It will help the slow speed wandering and it will help you plane at a lower speed. I had a 23 and it really helped maneuvering around the dock.
