Congrats Howard. That is really cool. Is there still a chance to have your boat on display at the boat show (last week or so of January). Hope to see it there!

Re: Here we go, the build... FINALLY Armstrong 28'
I can't imagine they will get it done in time for the show... I am not asking and I am not pushing. Just letting them do it right..
I am really excited for the show this year, but have to keep my wallet at home.. Need to get the boat splashed, insured, documented, surveyed, outfitted with a few more safety items and pay sales tax... before I buy any more toys...
What sucks is that I will miss the deadline to deduct the sales tax off my income taxes...

You never know till the time comes. They can still pull a rabbit out of the hat. They have welders and eiggwrs that work 10 hour shifts.
Looks good.

I have struggled to get on AAB lately, so the updates have not come in a long time. I am guessing another few weeks!!!!

Re: Here we go, the build... FINALLY Armstrong 28'
I love port side cockpit door, that's my next project! I cut one in my glass boat and it's so handy you have to have one to understand it. Nice touch. But mine is 3" above the waterline to haul moorings through......

Going ask about Billy tomorrow...
There is actually a port and starboard door. Wanted to make sure it was easy for the kids to get in, and so "when/if" I get old

Re: Here we go, the build... FINALLY Armstrong 28'
That was an interesting boat at the show saw a couple of cool items that I hope to incorporate into Miss Eliza. Post up the pictures of the holders after they are mounted.
Thanks for the sails and ales tickets. I enjoyed that night that next day sucked big time for me. Matter of fact it will stay that way till the end of March when I find out if the Doctors cource of action will succeed in killing the infection in my left hip.

Nice build pics
Re: Here we go, the build... FINALLY Armstrong 28'
Sort of boat related. I brought home some sweatshirts on Friday. The kids immediately thought they were directing traffic.

Thanks for the kind words... The kids are cute when they aren't screaming! They are great kids and I hope to have a lot of fun with them over the years.
We are headed back down on February 17th to check on things.. But I should have more pictures tomorrow.
Yes it has been too long!
