JACKSONVILLE "MEET & GREET", Jettywolf Style
Welderbob, of Sound Marine. While in Florida comes to see the Jettywolf and in a matter of minutes is into action, action, action
This is the 1st time, while a member is in Florida that they stopped by and said HI. On the east coast YOU HAVE to go thru J-ville. To visit real Florida.
Thanks Bob & Lee for the visit.
(Too bad it was the end of it for me...For a while. "Momma's don't let your babies buy HONDA outboards." I know, I'll never ever buy another Honda product)

I have no clue.....dropped off with head mechanic saying in my 25 years as a mechanic and working Honda's never seen a single 225 or 200 even, do this.
Hours? He'll have to plug it in for me to extract that info. I'd say not enough for what happened. Had 2K on my "one in the garage now" and it was even a lemon care of Honda, and nothing like this ever happened.

We'd have to ask Bobs wife, she's a Oyster Biologist, She told me how pretty the live bacteria in an oyster is
NO WONDER Bob had a shrimp Po' boy, and Lee had a shrimp burger....
She's a Oyster authority!
Check this one out from Metairie, Louisiana.....red beans and Andouille sausage
Hmmmm...
I believe Texas Po'boys probably means 1/2 a cow on a long bun.
Nuttin' Po' about Po' boys today.

"indicative of a region that pays less attention to the nuances of different raw oysters than to their culinary possibilities. (This may be changing in Texas. Galveston Bay now has numerous oyster appellations.) After all, this is the land that invented Oysters Rockefeller, Po’ Boys, Barbecued Oysters, and myriad other oyster concoctions."

Re: JACKSONVILLE "MEET & GREET", Jettywolf Style
To all AAB members,
Your missing a great time out on the "Jettywolf". My time was very limited, but Dave went out of his way to show me a great afternoon. We had a pleasurably ride just a mile or two offshore. I wouldn't give up Dave's secret sauce under penalty of dead, but we had sharks behind the boat before he could rig a bait and get it in the water. We spent of few hours bringing a few fish to the side of the boat then headed in for some lunch. You can't get local seafood fresher than Dave local hang-out. (well maybe in Alaska) .
My wife met us when we came in. She isn't the big ocean/small boat fisherman. In fact her boat doesn't have a rod holder on it, she doesn't want any blood on the boat. (?????????????). Hey its her boat. Anyway Lee is a Shellfish microbiologist ,she runs a FDA certified lab that test shellfish growing waters and shellfish. There are many problems out there today,so she recommends ,,know where your shellfish comes from. If you enjoy your shellfish raw use some hot sauce, lemon, garlic or horseradish. Put a little on to taste and let it sit for a minute (contact time ). Don't order shell fish after a big rain storm. Cooking doesn't kill virus, but that's another story. All that being said I had shrimp. (local ,fresh and delicious ).
Looking forward to my next opportunity to fish on the Jettywolf with Capt. Dave. Time to get back to work.
Welderbob

Alloy.......
You and the boys need to make a stop in some day, next.
(I'll let ya drive my 2014 "fly by wire" Suzi-Zuki 250 )
should have renamed this video of Bob & I.....the day my Honda died
got home after noticing it was starting a bit slow and the crank case was full of saltwater, and oil soup.
other than that the motor runs just fine.
my dad is gonna re-build this motor and replace all the gaskets/o-rigs etc.
