Anchor light

#1

Post by Capt. G »

Just a minor thing but a good friend of mine constructed this all around light on a metal mast that telescopes in while traveling...he even put it on a rachet base so I can lay it down flat. There is not much free space on top of my hardtop so this is a welcome addition.

The light is a Hella LED so it draws very little amperage compared with standard bulbs. Guess I can stay out all night on the hook chunking and not have to worry about my batteries....the admiral will be thrilled :)

Capt. G.,

Is that a second set of rod holders cable tied to the roof set of rod holders??? Nice Idea on the light/ratchet setup!

Marty,

They are fly rod holders....Makes it real handy for keeping the long wands out of the way.

I really like that telescopic feature to the all around light. Looks like a real nice job.
