I'm at a point in my life where its time to slow down a bit and enjoy the finer things in alloy boating and to be honest, I've decided to spend my kids inheritance to pursue that personal and very selfish dream. Only problem is their inheritance won't quite cover the tab . . . anybody got a couple of hundred big ones that they would like to donate to a worthy cause? Didn't think so. This little ship is for sale local to me, asking $250k which seems damn reasonable considering what you get in a big Bayliner these days for that money.

Dave, the only thing I would change in your plan is I would sell the boat to a guy named Mort. Oh, and Hillary is toast . . . who da thunk it?
The owner sent me some interior pics of the boat, pretty basic, utilitarian. Realistically, if it had a yacht type interior it would be a $500k boat. Check out the welder in the engine room.

Seems like a lot of boat.
I dare you to buy it !!! :D
I to have never ever meet (on a message board) such a deserving person!
And if the wife doesnt talk to you afterwards, it will only be for a week, and it gives you plenty of time to read manuals and get familiar with your boat.

Bevan, I like how you think!
You are right that we won't be talking for about a week since that is how long it will take for me to recover from my injuries enough to speak . . . :(
. . . and then when she finds out it costs $10,000 to fuel it up the judge will take pity on her and call it justifiable homicide.

FYI, if you guys use you welding machines for aux. power set your fine adjustment to 10 then check output with a VOLT METER .
My Lincoln G7 will put out close to 140 Volts on the 110 outlets so I run it on about 8 1/2 on the fine adj. knob.
Of course they all run diff. that's why we need to check'em.
