Hmmmmmmmmmm......

Nice find Dave. My guess is that it was either a flop or an extreme special order.........2004 year, and never saw pics on BLM or PB web sites???????

I like it! It would do well up here in Alaskan waters.
Spending my kids inheritance with them, one adventure at a time.

Now that's a "walk-around style" boat. When I hear the words walk around 'cabin' style that's what I think of.

Very cool, very cool indeed. I like it.

-still huntin' huh Dave?

And man, your like Matlock, Magnum, and Quincy.....all wrapped in one finding boats kinda detective, are ya?

Keep'em coming. You are always surprising us with some of your finds.

Dave...you always make me crack a smile!! Thanks.

Yeah, I am always looking, but I am going to live with my old boat for a while. Long story. There will be a time for a new plate alloy boat for me...for now, it's fun looking, and talking, and fishing.

I should be getting some decent pics soon as the water is warming up.

I didn't get the boat out last weekend, but I did walk to the end of the jetty (alamitos bay) for a couple of hours Sunday...skunked!

Have ya gone and talked to the guy Mako Steve's, or whatever his name is, about the Jigging, Dave?

No need for bait, just a bag o' ice and head out looking for some agressive fish.

Here's some Japanese versions...

This is Duels (aka: Yo-zuri's version of Shimano's) or the other way around.
Image
Here's some of the ones I have for bottomfish, the likes of Diawa Pirate's. I have a few and plan on catching some Red Snappers with them, if they find my technique worthy.....
Image

It's really funny, I hardly "LURE" fish inshore in the river at all anymore, but will "LURE" fish offshore in a heart beat, now that I'm hooked on jigging.

Kinda, should be the opposite huh?
Since I don't get to go offshore that much...
But since I'm a BIG TIME inshore/river fishing guide, and everyone wants to learn from the Masta...the JEDI-Wolf. I have to stay with what I'm good at. For Now.

I'm so phyched about headin out there with No bait, just my jigs and hopefully I'll get a bite.

Hey, I don't have any Uncle's that work for Mobile/Exxon either, but figure you live once, so why not always go for the gusto & challenge.

Yes...I actually picked up two of the Lucanus jigs and tossed them in the ocean a few times on Sunday just to see how they move.
They have essentially no resistance in the water upon retrieve which is why they need to be fished "as directed". Really pretty cool design.

The current makes those skirts flap around quite a bit and I look forward to taking them off shore to see how much the bass and red rockfish like them. .
I will let you know.

Hey Dave,

Looks like there is another one in our back yard. Check it out.

The price looks pretty tempting.

THAT HAS TO BE A TYPO!

IF THE ENGINE RUNS IT'S WORTH THAT.

SOMEONE PLEASE CALL THAT PERSON AND ASK IS THIS FOR REAL??????

I'D BE TEMPTED TO BUY THAT THING AND TURN IT OVER FOR A PROFIT.

EVEN IF THE ENGINES BLOWN.

Good for you Dave. I hope you have some sucess with it.
Please post pics of whatever yop catch on it....a minnow is okay even.

I know all the buzz might be buzz, but when ya find the right elements and the key, I bet it can be very satisfying to catch a fish on a barely moving jig.

Can't wait to try it all out myself. I'm just busy being a river guide right now, and when I'm not the seas are terrible so I can't go play anyhow.

Check out this pages video, it's another version of Shimano's jigs, but a lighter casting version:

Super sleuth's at it again.

Dave your hired when I want to track down something or someone.

I hope he does something on Ebay. He'd probably do better here!

I couldn't get a SNIFF on my old boat selling at 18K, other than by Scammers/wholesalers on Ebay back in 06-07, before the bottom fell out of economy.

I believe ebay is a waste on boats other than a 10-16' skiff at under a grand.

When I sold my old boat last month...I priced it right and put it on CraigsList for free. In two days the boat was sold for full price and I had to call several people who were coming down to see it later in the day.

I am now a huge CraigsList fan and it seems, from my only experience, to be a great place to list a boat.

If you don't mind a little bragging - The price that I sold it for was only $2,000 less than I paid for the boat 20 years ago. GOD's honest truth.
