New bottom paint shop is rockin'

I can't remember if I told everyone I was moving my bottom painting operation to a new location. So that has happened and I'm back up and running. I needed a bigger shop to get totally in out of the weather and to able to lift bigger boats. I also needed to get into the correct zoning as I was previously doing this in rural residential so fixed that issue too.

Anyway, its a building made with two 40' ocean containers set 32' apart with a fabric hoop roof spanning the space between them. The containers are used for storage. I've installed a massive steel boat lift inside that can handle up to 24,000 lbs. Boats can be up to 38' long and have a 13.5' beam.

So if you are in the PAC NW and need a first class bottom job done on your alloy boat pm me with your info and I'll shoot you a quote.

Bob, the new shop looks great! Much nicer than the setup when you did the bottom of my boat a couple years ago.

We did a beautiful brand new 29' North River a couple of weeks ago

Backing her into the shop for a bottom job
IMG_3322.jpg
We did all the usual stuff, sandblast, epoxies, bottom paint
IMG_3381.jpg
This one we utilized a bit of the bare aluminum to create a bootstripe

she also got the anode upgrade while she was here
