ACB 2008 30' military model
Just purchased this boat from gsa auction twin etec 2012 250's, 2011 trailer. I want to build the pilot house on the front and do something with the sides where the inflatables went. Maybe remove the curved portion or build a small round protrusion with aluminum. New inflatables are 15k at least.. there are recreational model with pilots on them. Wondering if anyone has come across a build like this or even found some drawings of the other models. Easy to go off of something then start from scratch, but I'll do what I have too.. any help is appreciated. Thank you.

I bid on one of these a few years ago but the missing collars killed the deal for me. I don't remember the exact details but I think a few of these were used for an Unmanned Surface Vessel program. Anyhow I would contact Life Proof Boats. They are a Safe Boat spin-off and will make collars for any boat. They do air, foam, or any combo of air and foam.
Solas is a small shop here in Washington that may be able to make a more affordable collar for you too http://solasgroup.net/contact/.

Steve
I just finished a 7.9 Naiad that was originally designed for a inflatable collar. I located a foam company in Hartford Ct who fabricated the shape of the collar out of foam. I installed it on the boat then shot it with Rhino Liner. Could be a lower cost alternative.
