Weighing Fish

#1

Post by AlloyToy »

Question guys/gals,

You catch a fish say 110#'s for speaking purposes......you want to weigh it. Can you take a couple of 60# pull scales and hook them up so that one scale is pulling on the other and then put the fish in the last scale to get an accurate reading? I guess like putting the scales in "series" is what I'm asking??

Nope , you will only weigh 60lbs

Ya need to get a bigger scale.

60 pulling on 60 is still 60................

I also don't think so
If you're at home, you might be able to use a bathroom scale.

In series it won't work, but side by side they would share the resistance of the weight I would think and it would be accurate. Right? If you have two scales do a test with a 50 lb weight and let us know.

just get a big commercial quality scale and end this "new math".
Didn't understand the BS in High school and don't get it now.

Geez, this dog food diet might be working afterall.
