I went to the welding shop today. [ B&D Welding] I rebuilt the cooler already. Gigs and raking Flounder off in these coolers is hard on them.

So this is what we did.

Some people had asked for pixs of it on the water. So I just shot these at random last night. I was also covering the flash to try and get the deck lights to show well. They really didn't in the pix's.

I thought I'd add a update to this.

The boat is now powered with a '12 DF-90A Suzzy and it made a Rocket out of it, for a flat bottom boat.

This new motor weighs 6lbs more than the DF-70 or about the equivalent of 1gal of gas.

It's still not even broken in yet.

So far. 21MPH @ 3000RPM and 30MPH @ 4000RPM. The motor is designed to turn 6200. In all honesty.....I'm a little afraid to open it all the way up.

30MPH in a flat bottom boat is fast. You really have to be on the trim button quick.

that giging on your boat looks really fun! I've never had a chance to do anything like that. Thanks for sharing your pics!

Nice set-up. That thing should RIPPPP across the water with that 90 on it. People always ask me how fast my Lund goes & when I tell them it ONLY does 42 mph they look at me funny & say "Thats it??" So I tell them to come for a ride & jump off the boat going that fast & see how it feels. So far I have not had any one want to try it. And in my opinion 42 mph is fast on water in a flat bottom boat. Mine does not like waves going that fast.

What is the draft on your boat??

I like the trailer mods also, function & fashion
