It was not cracked the prior evening. He did not say but they the Capt's sometimes have short fuses and act like young kids throwing stuff and Tantrums. The way it was designed. The Structure around the window is thick as is the window.
A F16's Canopy is around a 1/2" thick and it will bend when hit.

Starboard side supports with the fuel lines, conduit and wires showing. fuel tank is wired and plump less the Deck Fills.

The deck fill location. Still need one more. Got it off of Ebay Saturday. Using "Gem" Deck Fills. The are plastic body with the vent that dumps down the fill not out like some

Last picture is the view looking towards the SB side at the Aluminum Thru Hull with white hose attached.

Some more porn for you all to look at. This is part of the fish box drain. I could not find a y pipe with two 1 1/4" female fittings on each end with a third exit for the Macerater pump so we made it.

I went to Harbor marine and got the SS fittings along with the ball valve to hook it up. Just need to weld it in. see the bottom picture. Damn phone and fat fingers.

Here is one of my thru hull fittings sized to fit the 1 1/8" hose. The plastic ones are straight and I need 90* ones. Four more to make.

I worked by myself for the day till my son came dragging home around 4:30. First thing was welded on some angles to the transom fishbox so we can mount it. When Ken and I talked about and its shape we forgot to include the angle of the transom. I had it bent, welded it up, added the drains and the spray bar. It was done till he and I tried to install it last Saturday. It had a 1.5" gap at the aft top side and it was hitting on the lower aft side. Even with a bunch of trimming we could not get it to fit. Solution was to slice the bottom aft side the width removing a 1" X 6" tall slice and rewelding it. It fits now. To be installed later.

Yesterday went and picked up two more lift supports from Harbor Freight. These had to be assembled prior to use. Done.

Next supported the roof of the LITTLE GIRL with 4 lift supports and cut it; the roof off. I left an inch and a half on both top and bottom. It was the width of the circular saw short end of the guide. I used my Metabo grinder to debur the four edges. About that time Jamie showed.

He helped cut the two sheets of aluminium to fit. They are yet to be welded in.

Had to use that meat axe on the Metabo grinder to trim the previous welds away. It does send metal everywhere; a mess that needs to be swept up two or three times a day.

Got the Transom Fishbox up and partially welded in. I friend made some killer Through Hull Fittings. I got the Idea from Bruce at Coldwater. will add the picture tonight when I get home But till then I have started to figure out the Windshield Look.

I will be this W/E Mark I cut out the old windows in the front and made my patterns and cut the Aluminum Yesterday (Thur) Today I was trimming to fit and should have them tacked on this weekend.

This weekends emphasis will be on the Cuddy build out so the front windscreen will be secured. I picked up a Anchorlift Windlass for half price. Along with a Isotherm Cruise 49 Refrigerator SS door. Both Items came from deals came by BD Bob aka Chaps hooked me up with the welder. The Boat was found and my mind started to get the Crazy Idea to build it from here. I am getting the paper Blue print stuck in a CAD program as Built by Dave Fogdocker from BD as well. I am a lucky guy so far. Anyone got a set of new Yamaha F250 4.3 fly by wire motors that they want to get rid of at half price with controls? :mrgreen: :deadhorse: :thumbsup:

My Son In Law designs Cabinets for a living and he is coming over in the morning to take the measurements to design the cabinets for me. I have a friend that will do the wood work once he gets the plans for them. The frame work will be Aluminum Angle that the wood (Teak) gets fastened too.

I have been looking at the ANCHORLIFT windlass as well...I would like to have the one with the top mounted capstan. That unit looks like it is the aluminum model...is it?

Surprise, surprise, surprise, my son ran of for the weekend to the Eastern side of the state to see some snow and get Lucky with the GF. Jim that has done most of the welding to date. (Fast) showed up and welded in the front windshields today. He has also tacked in the cuddy roof.

Windshield has 7 panels with an additional 2 more to complete the Cabin. Teried to update last night but the site was down.

Dave aka fogdocker (Owner of a Alumaweld) showed up with my blueprint in auto cad. Did a bunch of measurements to update the plan as a as built blueprint. Way cool and thanks Dave. He also stuck around and did some more cutting and fitting of the structure.

John, do you think the cabin top framing will hold up? I mean, since you'll be holding square dance parties up there, is it really going to be stiff enough?

I'm concerned it will only hold about 400 to 600 lb. per square foot, but is that enough?

The sides will have three vertical supports plus the two wire runs each side of the front wind shield. The roof has 2" ribs every 12" as shown. the back wall still needs to be installed. Do I need more support?
The max that might be up there is radar, me and a raft. Your input is welcome. I get others throwing out "Need to add this or that" Some is crazy, some that I need to consider. Your input I will welcome cause you have been down this road before.

John, sorry my sarcasm was't obvious.

I think the cabin top framing is very adequate, perhaps a bit overdone? I'd say 2" frames on 1' centers is WAY good enough.

I've built cabin tops with a curve, where I only put flat bars FLAT to the roof panel, and they were fine, yours is 20x fine for strength.

didn't mean to cause concern, just kidding about square dancing on the cabin.

Don't understand the plastic part, of that statement? I've been studying that boat and don't see any plastic on it. And if I had to do it over again, that thing just might be sitting in my driveway :!: :!:

Drop the sides down a bit, but good gawd. The BALL ROOM , SQUARE DANCING space in the boat, is so awesome with the side console.

Plus as I commented before. The side rails on that boat make me very very jelous. :banghead: :banghead:

I see said the Deaf Blind SOB.
I only have to insulate it. The structure was previously made. A comment on Saturday by Jim was for the eye Brow to match the angles on the roof. Make it a little like a F117 Stealth Fighter. Radar reflecting boat for those or should say the one time I want to sneak up on a Sub or Carrier in transit threw the Strait. One time cause those fast boats have 50 cal. on board in the bow and a young kid manning it. :shocked:

Dave when I tie up to a clorox boat is when those chevrons will be a Plastic Scrapers. I ordered the 3" Hull stiffener, 25' length to put on 3 or 4 per side. :highfive:

Dave here is the shapes. You could make it out of either the Hull Stiffener or half pipe. A welder could cut and install the pieces in a couple of hours.

Hmmmmmm, the only thing that scares me is the words "alaskan copper".

That freight would be costly all the way to the deep south.

I'm thinking about doing a Motor guard this winter. Jus' because I can! (you know we can)

Even that, being a bolt-on has me shakey. The fact that someone is putting a welder to the side of my beloved Jettywolf, for several lengths of "side rail", has me azz a puckering.

Then there's the whole side "re-do" with the burn marks, I guess strip the scuffed up Nyalic and re-do with sharkhide?

I see some just stitched along and others a continuous weld.

How ya doing yours? And you're adding vertical pieces like the Mavrik boat? That's awesome if so. Now, I'll be watching that closely.

As I am lost in most of your other under takings, on the interior. (It's a personal attention thing for you I know. :thumbsup: )

My side rail is 3.5" half pipe welded on already by the previous owner/fabricator. it is continuously welded. The Mavrik style fwd slant vertical rub will be skip welded on the top, the three pieces below the half pipe will be skip as well also there will be no bottom close out plate on it. I am thinking of using them to hide the drains and scupper holes. Coldwater uses their horizontal rub rails for the floor drains. A oblong hole cut out on the bottom allows the water drain.
