2001 V23 for sale

#1

Post by blmyachtsales »

Hi Folks, been watching the forum as a member for over a year while playing with this V23. I am a dealer (don't shoot me) but this is a personal toy, being a hot rodder by hobby and enjoying working with metals has made this a real fun project. I am selling it (and using it at the same time). The boat is a 2001, it was in the first hurricane of the 3 east coast big ones in 03. Her her wind shield was lost, leaning post damaged, cap rails beat up pretty bad and some scratches. Pacific sent out new cap rails, leaning post is back, had a t-top made this time, scratches were filled with weld (correct alloy) smoothed and the hull painted with Nialic clear (what pacific uses now). boat looks stunning and runs even better. No electronics except the VHF, Motor (not original to boat) is a 03 Honda 225 with 375 hrs, trailer is a tandem axle bunk. $29,500 happy to talk about it Adam 508-951-4869

It has the SL DAVE boat transom, so it looks like.

I like that tan deck paint....funny to see a different color.

Welder told me that rubber rub rail is a 3K option, was it? wow.

What's the deal with the finish, was the boat outsides grinded on or wire wheeled?

Doesn't matter, it'll still kill fish in big seas easy.

Hi there AlloyToy, this is indeed the boat that was behind Jim's. It's been a fun project but like my hot rods there comes a time when you want to start another so here it is for sale. The rub rail was not 3K but the retail option probably cost that much, it is the exact same rail pacific uses. The finish took a few steps but final was a soft stainless wheel then clear coated with Nyalic (factory finish). Reason is the boat had some pretty good digs in it that were filled with weld and ground smooth, I could not get a uniform finish and one morning the sun hit the vertical grind pattern I just happend to follow with the 8" disc and looked pretty wild so I decided to do the whole boat that way. It really sparkles in the sun, It's one big lure. The nonskid is Durabak which is kinda nice, it's rubber based and sticky even on a soaking wet deck. The factory nonskid was fine I just wanted to be differant
