OK guys, you've been asking for more pictures. Here we go.....This was just delivered this week. Skokomish Indian Tribe will use it for fisheries patrol. They worked over a year trying to get this boat, but finally placed their order a couple of months ago. A 26' WA7 powered with twin Honda 150's, includes Garmin radar, gps, enforcement package, remote spot light, deck lights, heater and more.

what this THT....... :rotfl: :rotfl:

that's the 1st question asked over there the minute someone posts a photo of a new boat.

Louie, I'll give ya an idea:

I can run around for approx. 33 hrs doing what I do, on 18 gallons.

-That's not much over 4 grand running
- weight aboard (people 2-4) livewells and coolers etc.
- and a bunch of stop and go.
-In what seems to be endless windy conditions these days.

My math is pretty bad (I'm a fisherman ) but for a CC 26 I believe that's pretty damn good.

I put in 18 gallons every 3 charter days if I need it or not.

Julie, I'm one seriously happy customer. I'm sure these folks will love their new boat too.

Glad to see more coming to the deep south!

Soooooo, that doesn't mean he was hooked up to a fuel monitor. He was just running your gas!
I thought I was on THT there for a minute.

No box filling. Each time YOUR weather comes blowing thru from the west here, it kills it for me.

The only consistantancy is that it's soooo inconsistant. It really sucks big time.

Reminds me of Alloy's Tuna fishing.

I just can't believe none of these La. residents talk fishing........they should be banished to J-ville Florida, for 10 years as punishment!

Well any "Fishin" I have done in the Sheriffs Office boats was not for things native to water...

:skillet: Well Jetty those of us that live and fish in Louisiana don't want to rub in that we live in the Gods Country of Salt Water fishin along the Gulf. (Of course we wouldn't razz yall or nuthin either) That way you "Po-folk" that don't have the bountiful fishing we do don't get so envious that yall want to come live here.... :nutkick: :rotfl:

I have been curious about how the twin 150's do on a 26 for a while. The posting of one with the 150's was a chance to find out. I know how efficient a 23 with a 225 Honda is and how they preform loaded. Welder has already posted how I know that answer.

I also know how a pair of Honda 130's do on a 25 ft O'tech rigid inflatable patrol/rescue/recovery boat (One HEAVY boat with how it was rigged and all the gear) preforms fuel wise and performance. I can't even begin to figure how many hours/days/nights I have at the helm of that boat. (Mostly in the Mississippi river)

Just call me curious George when it comes to something I am doing some "Ponderin" on for a few years in the future. (If stuff don't stop kicking me in the bank account it may be several years in the future... )

I'm super envious, and when I see Roland Martin out Bass Fishing the delta, and catching two Reds at a time on two rods at the same time, I figure everyone goes and whacks 'em. So post away the ""catching"" all ya want. It won't bother me, I can take it. I beat myself up and watch La. Sportsman TV all the time as self inflected brutality. :banghead:

The "seems like THT" is a really old joke. I thought I'd lay on you. Don't even think Pacboat1 knows what I meant.
No harm entended.....Just a joke. Jay knows, he probably can't post one word about the RS over there. Without being asked as if he ran the the boat in a lab on a Dyno.

Was actually hoping ole SL Dave would have chimed in. He loved those people too :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: Which when I think about it really cracks me up.

Doing my trailer bearings today. It's raining and blowing and trying to save about $300, by doing it myself. While I loose $400 on Saturday, again due to nasty weather. Yeah, charter rates here are dirt azz cheap compared to La.

I'll post my trailer performance numbers when I'm done. :joecool:

MORE PICS PACBOAT1.....it certainly can't hurt. Since I'm selling a boat for ya on every trip mine goes on. I'm trying

I too am curious on the performance numbers :?: I'd like to know how it sizes up to a single 250......ya got a few extra lb's hangin on the arse end there

Wanna strike a revolution on THT just say "who's boat has wood stringer's" OMG :!:  That thread will be 26 pages long and it will go from wood stringers to who's boat is the best to electronics to the best batteries to who's wife got the best deal on Ugg's :!: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Oh by the way Les is there a fine for mentioning "THT"

ALLOY.....You GOT that right brother. That's so damn funny!!!!!
(no like we don't wonder off topics here, as I am probably the worst of all ...."just ask Nuke, right?")

Isn't efficiancy the KEY words in today's world for privately owned fisherman boats?
I understand when it's "OPM" - other people's money as in Sheriff boats, Tribe boats, or Goverment boats, Tow boats, who cares right?

Not to get off the subject, but I'm with Alloytoy. Or does working two engines slightly, better than working one engine heavily? Offset the having to carry the extra fuel and weight????? My Truck has only one engine. :joecool:

BTW......"how many swedish bikini team ta'ta's can fit in a 26 Pacific cabin before the stability of the 18 degree dead rise is compromised?"

Hey another Pacific down in my neighborhood.............Bravo !

One question, are those rod holders in the leaning post? If yes ?
With rods in those, will the rods clear the hard top ?

Hmmm, I'm fixin to bash some folks for derailing.........this high quality thread

The rocket launchers on the leaning post are utilized best for an aftermarket backrest or tooling/gear. Any rods placed in there will not clear the hardtop. This particular boat is for a research lab, I do not believe they will have any rods on board.

PACBOATS1,

please keep up the photo posts.....someone has too!

I know many of us owners like seeing them, so we can droool.

And of course we'll head off and talk about them, which is GREAT stuff for you guys. Think of this place as a worldwide color yellow page ad.

Before AAB.com, ya know how hard it was to find out about what other's thought? Slim to none, then fattie rolled over and slim was dead.

Yeah Pete , it leaves the back yard every once and a while . I just don't do Pictures very much.

I am making sure the other 3 bring cameras in July and I'll try to remember mine.

Those are the, SUPER DOUBLE SECRET PROBATION ELUSIVE ENDANGERED SPECIES ON THE HIT LIST GULF RED SNAPPER THAT CAN'T BE FOUND .
We could have FILLED up the 8' box on my truck that day. You know catching Fish that don't exist.

Sorry , I got on my Gulf Fisheries thang there. :banghead:

Spoiled One,

Just remember that the Gulf of Mexico fisherman are the first to cry....Them snapper are going to be closed permanantly along with all bottom fishing here on the east coast. They don't know how good they all have it.

That's why I want to be a Gulf Coast Angler when I grow up.
