A successful outing last night near shore. Windy and cold at first, but brought in the biggest lobster ever on my little boat.

While a Pacific 23 is a very good boat for many types of fishing...it really is the perfect small boat for pulling up traps or hoop nets.

SLD,

Do you have a hauler on your boat?

Well done.....

No hauler...leaning over and pulling. Gets old fast and is felt for days!

There are some people I have met that like these better than the NE brand of lobster. I am not one of those people. There ain't nothing better than a Maine lobster!!

HUH?????
YA MEAN IT'S NOT 90 DEGREES WITH SAND DUNES, PALM TREES, AND TIKI BARS OUT ON THE WATER THERE?

IT GETS CHILLY??????

I get that all the time here. Because it's Florida them folk from Michigan think Florida doesn't have a winter.
(although it has been 80 degrees here all week, good for a mid Feb.)

S L Dave, I see a rock crab in the back there. How did you do on the crabs? I love those things, maybe more than the lobster. I consider them a bonus when they show up in the hoop.

There were three keeper crabs last week. I love them also...very few people know how good they are. Like Florida Stone Crabs.
