Thanks everyone, Henry is a mad keen fisho, and Maggie is following close behind, the sad bit is we don't do it nearly enough. recently a local sports store held it annual take a kid fishing at the lake where they release a few hundred trout into a penned off area, the kids for $2 get 10 mins to try and catch a trout, the ones that don't catch a trout get a chocolate fish. Maggie caught a trout straight away, Henry patiently fished on, and my mate was helping but kept pulling the hook out of the fishes mouth, I think he could have caught on on his own, but the time ran out and Henry got a chocolate fish, we went home with sobbing and tears, and that was jut me. When we got home quickly showed Maggie how to gut and fillet her fish and prepared it for the smoker. Then we packed up the rods and bait and headed for the town wharf on the river which was a little bit flooded. It the take long and Henry caught a decent sized eel, and then Maggie got up set because she wanted to catch one too. But then it rained and that was it for the day. The End.

Hey Bevan,

People ask me all the time, "Hey Cap, do ya have them penned up for us?"

Now, I should answer, "what are ya, 4 years old?????"

Dang, never actually seen "penned up" fish before.

Great pics and rod time with the family. Good Stuff :!:

Hope Mom and baby are doing great! And raising 'em right I see as fishing is that important in my view.

Jetty, there are or used to be some small tourist deals up in the NGa. foothills with stocked trout ponds that charged you by the pound for your catch. Didn't take an hour for my girls to ring up a $50 tab before I realized it. They ate good as they are farm raised but no bargain.
