Is that dude taking a pic of you taking a pic??????
Looks abit like the goofy boat that they used to chase the Japanese whalers on whale wars, without the outriggers.
Yeah, strange to say the least.

It was all Asian guys on board...and he popped up and took a pic of the Emerald Star...I was running deadhead to Kirkland to do a lunch cruise. Yes it was in Mountlake Cut.
I saw some of the episode where the Whale stopper boat took a hit and broke an outrigger. So she went to the bottom...TOO BAD!
I really think that show is so wrong as it shows actions that mariners shouldn't be doing...when at sea we should all be together...There are other ways to make your point! Capt PJ

Re: This is strange!
I agree, we got alot of coverage here on the news. The skipper (Pete Bethune) deliberately steered his vessel in the path of a larger vessel then cryed foul when there was a collision. Then he climbes onboard in the middle of the night armed with a crossbow with the intent of taking over the vessel and arresting those onboard, in international waters. If it was near Somalia, off the coast of Cape Town or in the Bahamas it would be called PIRACY. Guys a clown.
Those wave piercers get good speeds in foul weather, hence the Littorial ships employ the design

Hmmmmm....I don't know.
I guess I'm a caveman. So I say; stop or shut down foreign whalers, and save our Oceans!

Here are the details on that boat. I wonder what a 7.62×39 round would do to it.

Re: This is strange!
Kind of reminds me of a 21st century PT boat on speed.

Hooooooo boy....... Geeeeeze. Jetty my alloy brother. Words are just words. Sometimes they can be used in a context that goes well beyond the the intended meaning. At that point we must choose discretion.
To claim...... Kill another human being from a emotional and philosophical viewpoint is not a very wise discretion. To write it on the internet or taint this site from possible future members/viewers. It is just bad for us all.
