As the more interesting boats hit the site I'm following I will share the more provocative and or outrageous offerings from the Home of "There is a Go Fast Gazzguzzlin' Bikini Magnet in your Price Range!".

The much rumored Invincible equipped with trip 7 Marines:

Estimated price on this one? Rumored to be $600k with only the best of the best accessories and appointments....don't know if that includes a crow's nest tower.... :titanic:

Make sure you're listening because towards the end they let you hear them running unbaffled: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=48 ... =2&theater

Them would be the 557 hp twins pushing the 38 Fountain effortlessly at 60 mph/1 mpg. and .7mpg @ 81 wot. :smitty:

Go to the BIG Miami boat show......touch it, smell the resin fumes, and wake up that if you did have the $$. A private island is a much better investment, than a Cuban Penis Extender.

Viagra is just .25 cents per pill on the Canadian black market. That's alot of CHEAP boners, compared to that.

Take 4 Viagra's and you'll be as tough as that transom holding all that weight........ :rotfl: :rotfl:

Hell with kids & dogs. Lets see those Thonged strippers  who work the show booth :!: :!: :!: :!:

Watch your inbox for that fine payment, I sent freshly issued BernackeBucks which may actually do OK here for a bit. Figured seeing and hearing those 7 Marines would be penance enough.

Never had paid much attention to it before and the prices of the toys for those of means are certainly mind boggling. Whole different world than the purpose-built vessel albeit subject to ones' own worldview. I'm only interested in the fishing side and the inshore aspect of that so my alloy will likely be of the tubular floatation variety as that is the only thing with some kind of fence which can stand a chance of containing my grandson's need for room to romp and roar in between a minute or two of fishing. Perhaps in 6-8 Years we can look at the matter again if need be.

The NavNet TZtouch that debuted is waaaay cool: http://www.navnet.com/index.html

Those motors are wicked and wickedly expensive, are they staying together? I heard the lower units take a MAJOR beating.

Can't find the thread right this second but a 7Marine rep said that they re-engineered the entire driveline to the prop focusing particularly on the gearing. Spinning a 29" Five blade prop as equipped at the show proved to be too much for their earlier designs to handle. As more tidbits come out I'll share but it appears that the 7Marine folks are sufficiently confident that the lone sandbar to reaching the open seas for sales has been solved.

That Fountain test bed is a 38' cuddy and they got 60 @ 4200/1 mpg. LOTS of engine left.....and one of them let slip that the number 7 will figure prominently in their future offerings.....as in two of theirs instead of tirps or quad 300/350's being more economical. The number $65k got tossed out as well......

Reading today and the boat pictured up top will be in the water as the owner consented to a few rides for VIP's. A buyer in one of the Emirates is said to have placed an order for a number of 7 Marine engines and thus their entry into the grand scheme is now no longer a rumor. Now I wanna see ChTucker hang a couple off that new Armstrong Cat and become the Lord of the Northwest! :smitty:

Seahunter brought their entry into the Dreadnaught CC class with a 45' being called 'The Beast'. Massive just doesn't translate but one attendee remarked that a competitor's 41' would sit inside The Beast's hull and disappear completely. :scuba:

I mean no disrespect to the august Family of Craftsmen, Engineers, and Connoisseurs of the Alloy Arts fwiw. Board seemed slow, I'm feeling 100% more like a human rather than a lab specimen, and I'm seeking temporary refuge from the onslaught of an irresistible force of Nature called a 4 year old trapped inside a house due to weather. :hammer:

Some really neat stuff I will never need though and I hoped to bring a little sumpthin-sumthin that might ignite some discussion.

Everybody reading knows Hydra-Sport and they are making a marketing push towards the 30+ CC demographic:

I always hear 55-65K for each motor......"let's see, I found water front lots leading out to the Rigolets area south East of Lake Pontchartrain, and into the GULF the other. For LESS than that with docks and bulks heads, ready and waiting, complete concrete pad and everything.

Hmmmm, one motor or a private sancuary?

I miss hitting the Big Miami. But its a far cry from when my dad and I could do a whole weekend there for $200 per person. We checked it out. The same Hotel in South Beach <<<<<<WAS>>>>>>> $55 a night double occupancy.

<<<<<NOW>>>>> same ole crap hole art deco hotel & ""Hostel"" is $190.00 a night. And the beds in big rooms in the ""Hostel part"" were $9.00 a night, now $45. One bath room for 30 people.

Totally out of our realm now.
