Fellow Al boat enthusiasts,
The first mate has decided that a standup head is now a life priority. Current boat is a 240 Pacific explorer, ifwe are going bigger then I would appreciate a bit more beam. Any recommendations for a production model in the 27-30 x 9.5 range. We probably boat 30 days a year, mostly 2-3 nighters with a handful of day trips. Looking for minimum 350nm range, Cuddy/berth and galley, self bailing deck, prefer outboard power. Mostly PWS and some gulf of AK.
Thanks,
Dave

Hi Dave
Are you looking to go with a new build or used?
Can you go greater than a 9.5' beam?
What is your budget?

3 Rivers Marine has a real nice slightly used 30' Duckworth for sale!

Budget is under $250, not opposed to used, new off the lot or new build. Honestly custom builds have me a bit spooked, seems we all know the guy who lost some cash with the builder who was one boat behind. Under 10ft beam preferably, it will still see a fair bit of trailer time. That is a nice looking Duckworth, out of my price range.

This is my 28' Crozier, it's 28' x 10' plus the bracket, Chad builds a great boat if you have any interest in going custom build.

I believe that the north river is the only highly manufactured yet somewhat costum company that offers a 27 with a 9'6" beam. I think you will be in that price range
