High speed alloy craft

A couple of pics of one of the boats I was building for a EU government. They were built to patrol a riverine border between two countries. The full specs still remain somewhat classified, but speed requirements were set at a minimum of 60knots sprint and operational cruise@ 35knots. Full ballistic protection to the hull and wheel house to protect the boat and crew. 10mm bottom with 20mm Breast plate and reinforced bow section to allow it to convince any vessel that would not comply.

Very cool, how much power and what type does it take to get that beast to 60 knots?

It is powered by twin megatech Diesel engines and coupled to there ms-2000 surface drives (surface piercing props) It is quite impressive at speed to look out the back and see a roster tail of water 50 ft high and 100 ft long standing up out the back.

Dave. Best way to view the roster tail is to go to "www.armacraft.com". Look in gallery at the top of the page and select croq video. There is a video of a couple of the older spec boats in action.
