I'm sitting at home today, wishing I was fishing. But, small craft advisory means we stay at the dock for the last halibut opening. We did manage to get out for the mid-may halibut opener and got two. Here is me and Pops with one around 28lbs.

Hey Adrian:
I did see where we could get a Canadian fishing license on line and print it out on our end. I was not sure about heading straight back home after taking some fish . . . would we need to actually pull in to a BC marina before we went home?
Cheers!

It is my understanding that as a US citizen one would have to actually be buying the licence on Canadian soil.

Sign up for a new profile with US residence, you will be asked to actually be in Canada to purchase the license as electronic licences are not "legal"
At least that was how I read it.
Good luck
