Looking good! I was just at Chad's shop the end of July and saw your boat in cut-pieces form...I think they had just unloaded the truck before I had arrived.

Look at those frames, anyone else see a variable deadrise? That's almost unheard of in the current herd of offshore alloy craft.

20 degree at transom, 26 degree at helm, 50+ degree at bow.
Should have some more photo's by end of the week.

End of week progress.
Next week or two - weld the Lift Strips, finish the bracket and then a lot of welding on the hull before it gets rolled over.

Boat is coming along nicely, aft deck and cabin deck are on, starting on the cabin.
Going out to see the boat in a couple of weeks - looking forward to it!

"Operator error" was the culprit for lack of photo's over the last few weeks, back in action again.

A boat with a variable deadrise hull, as you pointed out many posts ago!
I'll be going to check on progress again next month - it's mind numbing all the decisions that
have to made when building a custom designed and built boat.

Re: 28' Crozier / Hunt - New build
I gotta ask..you dont have to tell..whats this hull likely to cost all said and done? (the aluminum & welding portion only). Looks like a fantastic boat..but looks like over $100K to me (out of my budget!!
Re: 28' Crozier / Hunt - New build
Labor and materials for the hull & structure is around $100K
Labor and materials for the electrical, electronics, tankage, heater & stove, Yamaha F350, etc. is around $100K
Plus Naval Architect fee, trailer and all the other misc. items that come up is around $40K
