One of the things I love about my Pacific 2325...

I love how the boat handles at slow speeds. This is the easiest single engine boat to dock that I have ever owned. Even in 20mph winds, the manuverability of this boat is fantastic. The boat does catch the wind, but the way it handles makes up for that.

I was out on a harbor cruise last week and the wind was blowing hard (as it often does in SoCal afternoons)... As I was approaching the dock, my son started asking me something and my wife quickly told him, "Hold on. Daddy needs to concentrate." I told them that, "It is fine...this is not my old boat." A couple of turns of the wheel a little reverse...slid right where I wanted to go. "Wow, that was easy." my wife said.

After thousands of boat dockings...I am finally good at it. Thanks Pacific/BlackLab!!

Oh, you're just a happy owner. That's all.
Just like me. (they hated me on THT, because I was so happy)
Misery loves company, over there. And they had plenty of that. Remember?

Maybe outboard manufactures will someday build a motor as
"guareented tough" as our boats.

Have ya ever done the Jay Perotta, back up test?
20 MPH in reverse? Oh that's nice to have when you need it. In a Gale Force wind and crashing is imminent. Never owned or seen an OB boat go backwards as good as ours.

Sounds like you are biased, Dave.

I am biased...and love my boat!

That big boaTing/wHinning/complaining/fighTing website was like a bad party full of drunk teenagers with silly string. Smart people know when it is time to leave.

I can dock my skiff at mach 20, while talking on my cell phone. It takes me crashing into the dock a few times with my big charter boat to remember to slow down a bit....(grin)

Ain't that the truth!

I'm more concerned about the dock than I am about my skiff.

He is doing a 100 hr service, new GPS, new bilge pump and alarm, and a few other little things... They were swamped on Saturday when I dropped her off, so they still have it. Maybe this Saturday I can pick her up.
