This is a good sign - I've graduated from the "asking questions" to "showing off" category!

This is just a little tease and I promise to post more info when I'm done but I've been busy and it's paying off. I'll let the photos do the talking:

Look at that old man go!

My console was in bad shape but I'm really stoked with the outcome. I'll post a thread later with photos of the whole process.

Decided to add some color. Glad I did. You can see the paint job on the bait tank and console and the durabak on the gunnels.

I'm down on the east cape now fishing for a couple of days with a buddy. I'll be home next week and I start to put everything back together then. I figure with a weeks worth of work I'll be done and fishin'.

Saludos!

Merlin,
Lookin' real good

I saw somewhere else you were wondering what a 26ft Bayrunner looked like? Here's one from an old brochure that I had around
Image

I remember seeing one of these around my local waters in the mid eighties that had twin OB's that were spaced far apart and I think divers could access the water off the stern between the motors.

I don't believe that they increased the hull material thickness over the 23ft models.
