Fished out of Marina Del Rey.
Hit up some of the artificial reefs that are spread throughout the bay.
The fishing was good but the catching a little tough.
A handful of the usual suspects: Calico Bass
That's my cousin Allan
Some kind of Wrasse?
A bigger than I'm use seeing at this area: California Sheepshead
Most of the fish were caught on frozen squid strips.

- Your location: JACKSONVILLE FL USA
- Location: Tree-hugger, USA...they call it FLA.
That sure is different than a East Coast Sheepshead.....
Our's are the largest of the "Porgie" family.
Talk about Wrasse, that Sheep'ster you have there looks like a mutant Wrasse.
Wonder why they have that name? They don't look like that have sheep type teeth like ours do. Ours literally have teeth like one. Bucked and for grazing on rocks, eating Mullosks, crabs and shrimps.
I call em 7-striped Jetty Snappers as a nickname. And cleaning them is a real biotch! Since they're super scally and have tough bones with hardly any meat. When cleaning 10 of them, I get mad and call them
Sh-T HEADS. I really hate cleaning them.
