Call Brad @ HiTech Marine Trailers.

http://www.aluminumboattrailer.com/contact.html

You will not be disappointed. Be sure to tell them you want a Full length frame.

Think of all the things you want on a trailer and tell them. They are a custom builder.

Might want 15in wheels, instead of 14's. as a example.

The cream O' the crop. Best trailer I've ever owned, and no maitenance except bearings.

SS hubs, lug nuts and studs, aluminum suspension system.

Rolls-Axle

Their LED lights weree kinda crappy and crapped out after a year so I put on a pair of $39.99 LEDs from Harbor Freight (the chinese tool store) and they were even better than the orignals.

LADDER THEY MADE FOR ME:
Image
H.D. TONGUE JACK....NOT A FLIMSY THING.
Image
CARRIAGE SYSTEM, THE BUNKS ARE ON TRUE 0-30 DEGREE DEAD RISE ADJUSTMENT. MY BOAT FITS LIKE A GLOVE, WHAT A PLEASURE!
Image
SEE CARRIGE? AND HOW WHOLE BUNKS ARE ANGLED TO THE HULL?
NOT JUST AN "IN" OR "OUT" ADJUSTMENT, BUT RATHER LIKE A GLOVE.
Image
ALUMINUM AXLES...NO RUST OR CRAPPY GALVANIZING HERE. THE ALUMINUM IS A SLEEVING, THERE'S SOLID STEEL BARS INSIDE, WITH SS SPINDLES ON THE ENDS, TO SS HUBS.
Image
ALUMINUM SPRING SYSTEM, PATENDED. NOT REALLY A SPRING BUT RATHER A COUSHION LIKE SYSTEM. THE AXLE ROTATES AND THE SPRING BUMPS ON TO A BIG RUBBER COUSHION IN THE CUP. THEY SAY IT RIDES HARDER, SO WHAT.....MY BOATS ALUMINUM TOO.
Image
CAN NOT AND DOES NOT WEAR OUT OR FAIL!
Image
SIMPLY A PLEASURE TO OWN. MAYNOT WIN A BEAUTY CONTEST, BUT DURABILITY AND NO MAINTENACE IS BEAUTY TO ME.
I MEAN THE TRAILER TOO....

What Jettywolf said. They built the trailer for my 34 and it is the finest towing trailier I have ever towed. Give them a call in Plant City FL 1-888-765-5752.

Thanks for the info. WartHog5....did you get the 15" wheels? Also, what size boat do you have and is it a blackLab/Pacific? Where do you fish mostly and if in the Gulf....how far do you venture offshore? Do you have a single or twin engine setup? Any advice in boat purchasing would be helpful. I am planning to trailer it down to Tampa several times a year to fish the Gulf and the bay.

thanks again,

I run a heavy Galv. full lenght trailer [ 1495 lbs ] tandem with 3500 lb axles, leaf springs, 14" wheels, surge breaks/disc's , LED light's and 8' guide on rails .
I trailer from North Texas to Pensacola Fl and 400 plus miles , one way , to South texas.

The trailer now has over 12,000 miles on her and ALL original parts .

I bought my Pacific 23 in So. Cal , sea trialed and fished for 20 hours , did the 1st survice then towed 1600 miles home [ What a week ].

My trailer is made by Pacific trailers , not the same as the boats . It's heavy but I like it and it pulls real well.

thanks again,
I have a bracketed 23 Mako on mine. Twin DF-140 Suzzy's.
Yes it has the 15in 5 star's on it. Larger I beams. Kodiak brakes.
The best kick for the buck is Cad plated rotors and Stainless Calipers. They hold up VERY well.

The trailer is for a 27-28ftr. Again specify that you WANT a full length trailer.
NOT a trailer that is short framed and the bunks cantilevered past the rear crossmember.

A note about ANY new trailer wiring.

They ALL Suck.

The first thing I do is rewire a trailer to MY standards.
No Scitchlocks connectors
No use of the trailer frame as a Ground.
More lights than the factory supplies down the sides.

When looking at LED lights. DO NOT get the ones with the clear lens's. They don't show up as well as the colored lens's.

Not sure if those are being used much now? They were for a while.

Here the bunks are adjusted correctly. No trim tab interference.

This is the other trailer. Note the cantilevered bunks.

I bet. Overhead wires really do numbers on VHF antennas too.
Reel it on up, and take off the wheel, is all I do.

C'mon.

I did. It was a weird spot that I had to get into to load a car. This was on my car hauling trailer that it was on.

But I've seen several of them bent. Just can't get them high enough.

Some of that would depend on your tow vehicle too. A f-350 is going to sit higher than a F-150.

SHARKBAIT,

I know this is the alloy place, but that project cuddy you did on that Mako is right up my alley for having fun and making sum'thin special!

THat was one awesome job on that beast! Nice going, very innovating and you made it a boat that is very functional. Are you getting to use her a lot or what???

Sorry alloy boys, just had to tell sharkbait, kutos!
