I checked my Paper work and I have to REregester in June with the Coast Gaurd.

It's a EVERY two years thing.

How are your EPIRB's paper work ? Up to date with currant info. ?

Good heads up welder. Do they assign you a new MMI number?

Same MMI number... the NOAA sticker has an expiration date... they're really just trying to be sure the info contained in your file is up to date...

Eventually, you'll be able to scan your TWIC card at the gate at the marina, and again on your boat, and "The Man" will know what boat you're on, what you're doing, how much fuel cost you, etc...

Okay, a bit Orwellian, I admit... but certainly plausible!
