Okay I know the boat doesn't have a welded deck. And it does not self drain. And it has a notched transom with no splash well so I'll need a bilge pump for falling seas and sudden stops. Probably just get a Whale Gusher.
But the boat has an extremely solid hull. 3/16" alloy. Two stringers and seven cross members for a stiff hull.
It has a 30 gal tank. Foam floatation.
Lifting strakes and a 3" chine for smooth ride. About 10 degree deadrise.
The configuration is tiller which I love for that size boat. Daigle makes its own Waverider seats and pedestals which I intend to install one at least for the driver.
This boat is intended for cruising and fishing sheltered waters. Crabbing too. Also getting out on lakes and rivers. For an east coast transplant there's a lot of Washington State that I have yet to see. San Juan Islands, Columbia River, Lake Chelan, Lake Washington.
Previous owner had a 60 hp Evinrude on it. It's rated for 30 KW, which translates to 40 HP I believe. So I'm thinking a Honda 40 tiller outboard.
