Been a long time.....
Interestingly enough.....last week Clint from Gaudet's called me on adding some floods to his overnight fishing boat.....
During that conversation I asked him what it would take to build my boat at today's alloy levels..........over 85K was his answer......I was really taken with that number
I don't have close to that in mine.
Point is, when glass boats de-value......it would seem alloy can acutally INCREASE over time....

HEY stranger,
yeah, that rediculous aint it?
85 for a bay boat!! Ya gotta be kidding me.
Guess I'll keep mine for life. And a second boat will be the perverbial TIN-THIN Jon-boat some day. Rather than one of these, that I'd really like to have too!

Re: Bay Boat, LA home grown
Sorry for the sporadic updates on the pictures. But complications in the recovery are causing me all kinds of grief and delays in getting back to "Normal" (Whatever normal is )....
Here is another that shows the step in greater detail.
Also along the lines of cost........ Jimmy told me that all rigged out (Electronics, motor, trailer and all) one like this would be in the 100K range.
I have some more to upload to my computer of the front deck and storage I need to upload to my computer so I can post them as well.
