Boat has been completed and is pending shipping to Hawaii. The boat will be named "Ada Lee" after the lady holding the rainbow

Interesting...top side spring line cleats and a different gas filler locale.

Did you ask for those side cleats like that or was it a change Pacific made. I'd love to see that new stern hatch in the floor....ya'll that have it probably do not realize that "we" don't.

I guess that's Washington, huh?
Just not a snazzy as Hawaii,

Thats a battle wagon, for sure. That "ST" is really the kats azz!

Besides the chair, the customizations I asked for where eliminatingthe below deck box for a head, and eliminating the forward seat--this allowed them to set the console forward enough to allow ample room for the chair. Cleats and fuel cap must be standard now.

what,no step down into the console?

Yeah my center cleats are hidden under the gunnel boxes, I liked that.
And my gas cap is on top versus on the back side..all in the same area of course.

The forward seat is okay, I see from pics that its a good place to stuff PFD's. But I can understand why ya went without it.

Moving the console forward that far probably did make things a bit diiferent that the original design.

Can't wait to see a bikin gal sweatin a fish to the boat in that chair. Will make all the flannel-shirt wearers jelous. Especially in January.
Me too.

Nice set up! Personally, I think you would be better off shipping it if it had a personal escort,,,like ME
I'll make sure it gets there without a scratch on her. Please PM me on departure date

Where are you fishing out of and is that for GIANT TUNA fishing in the N.E.??? or are you on the southern westcoast???

How did you bolt it down? Could you get to thru-bolt it??? Backing plates, etc??? Mty

Boat will be used in Hawaii--mostly out of Hilo on the Big Island. This is the windward side . We often fish 10 foot mixed swells and are alway hoping to hook 100 + Tuna or large Bill fish. I has Pacific build the boat around the chair. I left it to them how to attach it, and looks like from the pic they put a doubling plate in. I have yet to see the boat personally. It will leave Seattle on October 1.

Nice boat for sure. Thanks for the pics :D . Looks like a thick doubler plate welded to the floor which I am assuming they drilled and tapped holes (hopefully large ones) to bolt down the chair. Some lock tite and big short bolts and she's good to go. That looks so cool on a 26 Pacific it's not funny  .

What is the cost of shipping the boat from the builder to the big island???

My tractor trailer ride from BC to shinnecock NY with fuel surcharge was $5400 plus $654.00 in import duty taxes in 2005.

4he will need a set of Tigress Graphite outriggers for trolling those big fish. They will cost more but are worth it. Good luck and tightlines.

Including fuel surcharges, almost $9300 for shipping from seattle to Hawaii. I could have saved 3000 by towing it to California where Matson has some competition, but logistics did not work out.

I think I have a frog in me throat.

Wow, hawaiia been very very good to you...

I see boats on top of ships every day, and wonder what that goes for.

I think (I know) my boats seen more of the U.S. then I'll ever see.

Washington to Florida.
