Boat no longer for sale.

#1

Post by S L Dave »

Hey guys,

My wife, who NEVER goes on the boat, spent a tremendous amount of time and energy last night talking me out of selling my beloved Pacific. For now I am going to try and find another way to raise some cash. Thanks to all for the interest and supporting comments. Let's fish!

If we only knew what a Punter is??

My goodness I can remember when our friend S.L. Dave was just like Deno. The torment was almost too much for him to bare. He shopped and shopped. And got so good at it he could have become the boat shopper to the stars in La.La. Land.
Then found his boat and reacted at lightning speed.....we werew all a glow, for him!

Me? you'll have to pry my cold dead hands from the steering wheel before I don't own my boat. I'll steal it from the bank before they get it back.
(because I need it to make a living)

Dave, how could you? You're my personal example good things come to people who shop....... till ya drop!

Okay, enough raggin on our buddy, Senaca Lake Dave.

I hope ya get your land, really. And then down the road you can get yourself a different alloy boat and relax chasin them Musky's or Pike, smelling the Pines and seeing the tree's turn in the fall. Clearing the lungs of you family from smog and suburbia.

That's how I feel about somehow getting outa here, and into the bayou's of SE Louisiana.

If you are in NY you are 5 hours from the Cape which means you can jump on the "AlloyToy" and do some tuna fishing

Hope it all works out for you Dave  someone will get a nice boat

Hey Dave,

I with your wife on this one. I somehow feel connected with your purchase of this boat. Especially since I met you on the day you first looked at it. It seems that you have not had this boat all that long, about as long as I have had mine. I would be hard pressed to dump my boat unless it was for an upgrade. However, I do understand opportunities to make $$, and I wish you the best on the sale.

I've been busy...and haven't been on AAB.com for a while.

But "boat no longer for sale" had me scratching my head.

I was missing something. And just plain outa the loop I guess.

Off Market?

Hmmm, those wives. They sure can talk sense into us short sighted guys sometimes.
But then again, it goes the other way too.

Dave, it just could be cheaper to keep the boat. You'll miss it, I'd hope.

So, ya catch'n anything on them Lucanus jigs lately??

Well...that was her argument. This would cost me big time when I start shopping for a new boat next year. She is right . I am wrong. Always!!! I am a happily married man.

I never caught a damn thing on the lucanis jigs. I actually haven't thought about them in a very long time. Maybe I will try them again.

Deno,

Come on man...haven't ya ever heard of an "accident at sea?"

Is there any really rock hard buoys out there?

C'C'mon. It's only not legal when someone else does it.
