Mounting fire extinguisher
Just wondering where u guys mount your fire extinguisher on your boat, so that its not in your way when fishing?

Small picture but mine is mounted on the left side of the windshield and EPIRB is on the right.

Alloy doesn't burn, so mine is somewhere in the box built on the front of my console knocking 'round.

Mine is stowed under the pax seat with a label on the box pointing the way...having it 'knocking around' isn't my idea of a good way of doing it...especially if I happened to get boarded by our friendly USCG and they found out that I was also licensed even if it is my private boat. In my thinking, it should be someplace in good condition, with a current charge and easily accessible even if it is an UNINSPECTED passenger vessel! Good luck to you if you need it in a hurry! I say this after having been thru a 3 day Advanced Firefighting School in December last and this is on top of of doing STCW-BST. Capt PJ
